Mountain View Hotel Willingen
On behalf of Willinger Brauhaus GmbH, LIST Bau in Willingen has successfully completed the construction of a new 100-room hotel.
To prevent the soil from shifting, a so-called “Berlin-style shoring” (beam-and-sheet pile wall) was installed in the underlying slate bedrock along a length of 140 meters before structural work even began.
The ground floor now features a spacious tenant area with an industrial design aesthetic. Several conference rooms and a bar were also integrated into the hotel section of the ground floor. A full kitchen with its own ventilation system was installed for the restaurant area, and a wellness area was created on the second floor.
Prefabricated bathroom units were installed in all 100 guest rooms; these were incorporated during the structural work phase. The basement houses an open underground parking garage and utility rooms. Hot water is supplied by two pellet heating systems. An aluminum louvered facade and all-glass railings for balconies and terraces add further architectural accents.
